Throughout Lent and Holy Week, we will be posting and sharing weekly video messages provided by ministers of local churches. These links can be found below or on the Worship Services > Services page or on our YouTube channel. These video messages reflect the wider church family of our local community and invite us to journey with one another during the season of Lent. Each of these pastors is part of a local clergy group known as the River Valley Ministerial Association (RVMA ). The group meets monthly to discuss opportunities for collaboration and partnering together in service to our community, and personally for encouragement and mutual support. We are theologically diverse and represent different traditions of the Christian Church, but we share a common bond as local ministers and as brothers and sisters in Christ.
Each week leading up to Easter, we will be looking at the psalms of Lent, and a different minister will share a brief video message and prayer. This is an opportunity to “get to know” some of the local ministers, to recognize the commonality of our faith, and to practice humility and grace (allowing ourselves to be challenged by the Holy Spirit and the testing of our faith), even in areas where we might disagree.
The schedule is as follows and video links can be found below.
