On Sunday evening, August 28, Arts of Mediator hosted an art show of parishioners work which included paintings and drawings, sculptures, and stained glass. Approximately 40 people attended and participated in conversation, viewing the art, and enjoying refreshments.
After the showing, attendees and artists gathered around Mediator’s firepit, Stumphenge, and enjoyed s’mores, apple cider, and singing songs.
Thanks to Phyllis Norris, Julie Bender, and, Ric and Jan Anderson for preparing the artwork for display. Phyllis Norris is commended for her vision and inclusive outreach, inviting, and organizing entries. Congratulations to our in-house artists who applied for and received a Bishop Whittemore Grant to put on these types of art shows and to support Arts of Mediator.
