It is with great sadness we announce the passing of a dear friend to The Church of the Mediator, Robin Carlisle.
Robin worked as Administrative Assistant for The Church of the Mediator for 10 years, during a significant growth period in the church.
Robin and Helen Williams were best friends for over 25-30 years. Dirk, Robin’s husband and Robin were also very good friends with Fred and Marianne Williams. Helen and her sister, Kathy, considered Robin their big sister.

Roberta “Robin” Carlisle, 73, of Three Oaks, MI, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at the Franciscan Hospital in Michigan City, IN.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Sommerfeld Chapel – 15 N. Barton St., New Buffalo, MI.
Robin was born on October 1, 1948, in San Antonio, TX, to the late Robert and Ruth (Gordon) Payne. She was a 1967 graduate of South Haven High School. On June 5, 1996 she married Basil “Dirk” Carlisle; he preceded her in death on March 25, 2020. Robin was a cheerleading coach for the New Buffalo and Bridgman schools for over 20 years. She was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, Michigan Wolverines and Barry Manilow. Robin is survived by her beloved son – Craig Buelow of Three Oaks.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will take place on Wednesday, April 6, from 4:30-8:00pm, at Sommerfeld Chapel in New Buffalo. Her final resting place will be at Pine Grove Cemetery in New Buffalo.
